Spring fishing Beaver Lake...

Was able to get out and do a lot of spring time fishing on Beaver Lake this year.  Most of our fish came on Spinner bait and Chatter baits about Hour before sunset and an hour after sun was down.  Unfortunately the digital scale we have battery died  ... I am happy to report the battery has been replaced!!! And getting a back up spring loaded scale... 

Here is a couple pictures.... (this one came on KVD Jerk Bait on 6lb test!!)  Just shy of 21 Inch..



My Wife caught her PB this spring as well  on a spinner bait it went just shy of 20 inches..  If you look over her right shoulder you see a little stick in the water... That is where she was hanging out..



We caught a lot of quality fish this year... About 6 small mouth averaging 2ib a piece.  Several 3+ and a few 4+ besides the ones posted here..

I have truly become a fan of those baits and have started keeping one tied on... A crawdad or shade colors during the day and a black/blue at night.

Wanted to add a couple nice Striper pics that Dad picked up fishing here the last couple of days...

First one 16 IB on 10 pound braid and 8 pound leader.... 18 min fight... There was a lot of cussing and groaning ....  Once it got under the boat we could see it on the graph... I would inform him... 20 feet, 10 feet, 40 feet (no shit didn't you hear the drag)... 30 feet, 10 feet, 40 feet ( ), etc... went on for awhile...



This one was 6IB and only about 10 min fight on 8 LB test line.... Not as many 



We were trolling for Walleye and Crappie... We caught a bunch of stuff but these are the only 2 worth showing off...
