Yeah they sure have come a long way ! What stands out to me at first glance is that thing has 3 seats in it lol   Couldn't imagine fishing in that with 2 other people ! They had one of these at the Classic Expo it was amazingly small but at the time I imagine they were the best thing out there.  For some reason looking back through my pictures I only got 2 shots of it 1 of the floor area set up with old lures and tackle box

And one of the front seat

It was silver metal flake, I wouldn't think it was original paint ? It looked cool ! I don't know why I didn't take any more pictures of it !!!
I know what happened now lol,  we were standing at the Lews booth , they were giving away all sorts of stuff and throwing TShirts and I actually snagged one right where I took those pictures lol ! Then Lee called me and I went to meet him before he left.

My 1st Ranger was a TR-3, second was a TR-6.  Neither has trim & tilt.  Guy on the back had to jerk the engine up.  Always let my brother do that, he was pretty husky guy.  3rd Ranger was a 176A (I believe that's the number, would have to drag the pics out to make sure).  Yea, these were bad boys of that time.  They were just as awesome then as the new ones are today ( figuratively speaking, of course).  They were the best of what was available.  The 176A(?) had a 115 'rude, with T&T, boy was I bad  back then.......LOL.  Will post a pic of them if I can find them.

In 1974 I bought a new Ranger DTR-10 with a 85 HP Rude. They were a wet boat in rough water.
