Welcome to the Ultimate Bass New Members Contest!

To all new members of UltimateBass.com,

Welcome to the site. As our way of saying thanks for joining us here at UltimateBass.com we have set up a New Member's Contest just for you. All you need to do is make a total of 5 posts to qualify. Any post you make anywhere throughout the entire site will count, but at least 1 must be posted here so we know that you want to be entered in the contest. Any other posts that you have already made will show up in your post count as well. If you haven't done so already, stop by the Let Us Get To Know You board and tell us a little about yourself. That will give you another post toward the 5 you need. Each week on Friday one name will be drawn from the list of new members in this thread who have reached 5 or more posts. So check back each week to see if you are the lucky winner. The sooner you post the better your chances are of winning!

But Wait, there is a bonus!  If you joined this month and you don't win a prize you will get a second month's worth of chances to win. Your name will stay on the new members list until the end of next month and automatically go into next month's contest.

If you signed up after the last drawing of the month don't worry. You will still be entered in the next two month's drawings.

So what can you win?  We have some of the best sponsors on the web here at UltimateBass.com and each month we give away great prizes that they have provided to us specifically for this activity. If you want an idea of what the prizes could be, stop by the sponsor's web sites and check them out. To help you find their web sites just look to the side(s) of this thread and click on their banner.

Even though the prizes are drawn weekly they will not be mailed out until after the first week of the following month.   The winner's screen-name will be posted each weekend in this thread and again in next month's contest, along with those names that get a second chance.

Once you have posted in the New Member Contest to get entered in the drawing, don't forget to check out all of the other great boards that we have to offer. Sadly no. You only get to put your name in once for this contest. The basic way it works is at whatever point in a month you join you get the remainder of that month for entries. As a way of saying thank you, we give everyone an additional month's worth of entries. Because you joined after the last drawing was already done for April, I am putting your name in starting with the first drawing in May, and then you get he additional month of June. So once June ends you can not put your name in for the New Member contest again because you will not technically be a new member anymore.

Don't forget tough, that starting right now, and for as long as you remain an active member on the site you can enter the Weekly Contests every week - one entry per contest. There is usually at least one and usually several every week so be sure to check them out and put your name in for each one.
