I'd be more than happy to take you out and show you some exceptional largemouth and smallmouth fishing. The last two summers, I've been out almost every weekend. I'm sure that's going to change this year since my son was born a couple of weeks ago but I'll still be out there. Happy to take anyone that is new to the area or just wants to learn.

I'd pick June through August. Not just because those are the warm months but because that is the best fishing IMO. First, it gets you out of that intense heat down south and into the more comfortable 80's and 90's that we have here. Second, the best smallie lake in the state is at it's best when it's hot and sunny. The amount of 4 pound smallies that you catch out of that place is unreal. And while I've never been to St. Clair, I bet it compares to that lake.
