Our next event is schedule for Black Bayou Hosston, on Feb. 1st. Registration is from 5:00am - 6:00am, with "first cast" at 6:45am. Currently the ramp/dock area is choked up with Giant Salvinia, mainly from the westerly winds, but boats have been launching there. Benton Bass Club is supposed to have a tourney out there next weekend, so hopefully their traffic will clear some of it out of the way. If the ramp is unusable on our tournament morning, we will use our alternate lake selection and all drive to Caddo and launch together at Shady Acres ramp.

Black Bayou Hosston is officially OFF-LIMITS for those fishing our event on Saturday, Feb. 1st.

Thanks for all the input on the Hosston ramp conditions, I plan on going down to BBH on Thursday and cleaning off the ramp.  We'll be doing a take-off similar to what we did on Cross, so get there early.  Registration will be from 5:00am - 6:00am, with a first cast at 6:45am. With the dock situation the way it is, we may need some guys to shuttle the previously launched tow vehicle driver's out to their partner's boats...to prevent congestion.  We should be able to work out the logistics that morning, everyone's good about helping each other out.
