Nice catch - do you prefer the 3/4oz over the 1/2oz? Is that preference based on size of the baitfish or something else?

went out today 10:30 to 1:30, nice day, water temp 60, only got1, very slow, got this guy on a 3/4 oz rattle trap, silver and chartreuse. fished deep and slow. tryed alot of other stuff no takers, most of the fish i could see were in the grass. this one 20 1/2, weight 2lbs, well at least no skunks

well i have been using the 1/2 oz but with little luck, the 3/4 was a gift from kids, tryed last week and got a few, so i wanted something lipless and heavy to go deep, 15 to 30 ft where i fish, i have been reading others having some luck this time of year with rattle traps,

Just caught up on it at bassmaster. Congrats to the winner, he won it flipping bb crickets with a lews and halo rod. Love it.

took the boat out today, pretty windy and in the upper 50s/low 60s water is still to cold up here in jax.  Started out throwing cranks and topwater into the pads w no luck on either.  buddy of mine switched up to the senko and pulled in two decent ones probably in the 3lb range.  all I got was a crappie, however it was the biggest one ive caught ever and one of the bigger ones id seen before.  Switched spots for the late afternoon and still not much luck, one 3lb 10oz on the senko was it.  we desperately need a warm week here to warm up the waters and wake up some fish, but its not looking like were gonna get it this week.

Went out late this afternoon. Only caught one 2lb, buck off a deep flat. The big girls around my neck of the woods are staging to spawn. Should get pretty interesting the next few weeks.

Martin caught himself a nice 5-6ler with me today. She wasn't long, but she was a fatty.

Went out yesterday with the kids. bluegills were biting.
It was my daughters first time out with her first combo. Not quite Shimano
but it did the trick. 

Had high hopes for this morning, slightly overcast, 50 degrees. And a big fat goose egg . tried working brush and a flat with jig....then took a spoon and was running it over some grass. Try the pond that has been most productive the last month tomorrow. Throwing the baits I have gotten fish with, spinnerbait and t-rigged rattlesnake and see how that goes. then looks like too cold the rest of the week. hope the rain holds off for me

Yeah a lizard. He calls them the "Nelson Mandella" model, lol.

Went out this morning 6:45-8:05, started with a light drizzle then stopped. didn't get any on the spinnerbait or weightless rattlesnake. But did switch to the ol' gambler 7" in redshad green flake and landed a nice heathly 2 pounder. But didn't have much time left to continue fish, had to go to work.

changed the weight to correct number, my scale was stuck on KG, did the conversion came to 4.4 lbs, i thought it was bigger then what the scale said

So I am looking forward to picking up some of the new havoc bait kliens boss dog.
They didnt have in Mandela special but motor oil read and a few others look good.
