2014 Bassmaster Classic Official Guess the Winning Weight Contest

It's that time of year again!  Time to guess the winning weight of the Bassmaster CLASSIC and win some baits!  This is the official thread.  Please ONLY post your guess in this thread. Make your entry post like this:

Here's how the contest works:

You make a guess of the winning weight in LBS / OZ  and you wager a bait as an entry fee.  It doesn't have to be a new bait or anything expensive - just a bait or two.  So this is NOT a FREE contest.  Your entry fee is the bait you wager.  By playing, you agree to mail the bait directly to the winner, who will post his address upon being declared the winner.  The more people who play - the bigger the winnings are! The lucky winner will receive baits in his mailbox, and are mailed to him by those who played but didn't win. 

Don't go crazy expensive on the baits.  I plan to wager a couple bags of soft plastics or some jigs as an example. 

The closest weight to the winning weight without going over is the winner.   The winner will post his address and the losers will send the winner the baits they promised in the wager.   It's that easy. 

You may NOT choose a weight that has already been picked.  No duplicate weights causing a tie.  The first person to post the weight - owns it.  So scan the previous posts before you make your guess and wager.  You may not modify your guess once you post it - so think about it first.   I will summarize the guesses periodically.  Edited weights will be scrutinized and disqualified.  I'm watching and will let someone know if his or her weight has already been taken!  ALSO - (1) One entry per person.  DO NOT create multiple UB user names to make additional entries.  This is a fun - good sport game.  Lets all play honestly and fairly.

The contest closes  4 am EST February 21st (just prior to the day one launch).  No more entries will be accepted after the launch.  The contest will be decided when they crown the Classic Champ on Feb 23th.   There will be NO accommodations or adjustments for fog delays or full days cancelled by weather, high water, etc. Or if the venue gets changed to a different body of water.   The winning weight is the winning weight, as published by B.A.S.S.  If it goes to a sudden death fish off and the winner is declared by catching the first fish,  the winning weight is the weight posted on bassmaster.com for the final results for everyone to view.

Some people guess right away to get their best guess locked in.  Others sit back and wait to see what the practice weights or estimates are or game day weather, though you run the risk of someone else posting and taking the same weight you were going to guess.  So don't wait too long to enter.  This is a 3 day 5 fish per day contest.  You are choosing the combined weight of 15 Lake Guntersville Bass.  Choose wisely!

So again, this thread is the Official Contest Thread where you should post your guess.  ONLY POST CONTEST ENTRIES to this thread.

** This contest was approved and blessed by management first ****   It will be based on the good faith of the non-winning players to follow thru on their bids and send their bait to the winner.  I have played this during other Classics and it is fun.  The winner will feel like its Christmas with all the baits arriving in the mail!   Good luck to all!
