Barkley lake UB rally ?

I live about two hours away from Barkley lake. I would love to get together with some fellow UB guys for a weekend of fishing and hanging out.  Cooking and so on.

Not sure about a date yet. Sometime around late march. Or mid April.

If anyone is interested please leave a message here and pm me. Also if another body of water is better for everyone else do be it.

Barkley lake is in Kentucky. In case there was someone that lived near that never had heard of it.

This is a bucket list lake for me    I'm about 6 hours away . Nice little road trip !

Asheville is about an hour away from me.  It is a nice area.

Lake Barkley is about 6 hours away from me.  I would love to attend the rally,  I just don't know it I can find time in March or April.  I will see what I can do.

Brad I hope you can make it. I'm not set on that time frame I'm just thinking that fishing is going to be great on Barkley at that time.

I don't know how Me and Schlich could do it this spring . If you get a date set maybe we could work it out. Kinda tough for us unless we plan way in advance or just make it a over nighter with the 3 kids at home.

I'm going to set the date for March 28th - 30th. That's a Friday thru Sunday.
You can arrive when you can. And leave whenever. I'm thinking about friendly day tourney on Saturday.
And do some grilling that night. I'll be bringing a large smoker along.
I have a good friend that has ground at eddyville I'm going to try to get him to allow us camping on his ground. Or we can get a club house on the lake.

I'm in if you need anything let me know I live about 30 min from Eddyville. That is a good time of year if anyone is want to try out KY or Barkley lakes, bedding should be in full swing and water will be on the rise so makes for an interesting bite.

I am not sure about the dates, yet, but I am interested.  I am probably a couple of hours away as well.  I would have to weigh down the back of someone's boat, but I do know some of Lake Barkely hot spots, depending on where we go!

Yeah I'd be interested.  I'm usually off work Fri/Sat/Sun so I'll have to start looking ahead.  Never fished south of me, always head north to fish NE Indiana or southern Michigan. 

Looking at Google, Barkley/Kentucky Lakes look absolutely huge compared to our "big" lakes of 2000 acres.

Just found out my son's first football game is that Saturday.  Might be able to make it up there for a social later on Saturday and maybe fish Sunday if guys are still going out.
