Welcome Bob, is that a double you are holding up in your avitar?

Yup.  Heddon Exclibur crankbait in a bass pattern.  One on the front hook one on the back.  A 3.5 and a 2.5.  We culled the small one that day.  I think we finished 2nd or 3rd in that tournament.

Those are some great looking fish Bob. I plan on visiting your site this evening after I am done working here. Looks like you ahve a good little site going there is it a local site? Or are you branching out?

Oh and by the way I love your choice in forums... you couldn't have chosen a better one to go with!

Originally YumaBassMan.com was a local information only site, but when I asked I was told forums would be a good addition. I can say its a lot faster to post an article on the forums than it is to add it to a web page, and upload the new page.

I'm not sure that I am branching out so much as tryig to encourage free and open communications.  I get a little abuse, but as long as its done tastfully I turn the other cheek.  I don't mind people posting their own websites as long as they are contributing, and I encourage them to put their link and a small graphic in their signature.

I also have an open link index open to any fishing or boating related website.  Commerical, personal, and even other forums are welcome to put their link in the link index.  I police it regularly and remove the spammer posts for link farms, casinos and drugs etc...

You picked a good forum program. We used that one a loooong time ago when we first started out. There are a lot of things that you can do with it as it is very flexable and easy to work with.

We have done the same thing here and we have a great little community of folks. If you check out the siggys you will see that almost everyone has a graphic of some kind in their siggy ;) I also don't mind folks talking about their sites but I don't allow blatent advertisements. If they are contributing some good infomation to our members here then the address of their site is ok.

I don't get much abuse here ;) Thankfully I don't think many of the folks here would put up with anyone giving me or anyone else a hard time.

You should check out our link directory and you are welcome to add your listing to it. There is a great resource there and we welcome folks to use it.

Hi Getthenet,
We mainly fish Webster Lake, Wallum Lake, Singletary, Mumford River, and the Blackstone River.  We also hit the occasional smaller ponds etc.  Basically anywhere we think we can get a bite!!

getthenet

Yes.....we did fish all those places...we tried the Blackstone but with no success, where do you put in? also, what are you catching in there? At Singletary my hubby caught a nice 6 lber and a friend of ours caught a 7 lber. I caught a few too but not sooooo large. Welcome again!!
