Depending on how the trip went...it might count as a good vacation.  But we need members to post the state they live in to count in our numbers.  Good try.

Well there is no hope in me posting anything intelligent.  But...what if we posted a list of the states we need and then let all the members know what states we need to have members from.  Then they could think of who they might know in those states and see if they would like to check out the site...there...that is the best I can do.

Take the list we have and figure out the ones we need.  There is a list somewhere in this thread of what was left at that point...I'll try to dig it up and repost...give everyone what states are covered so far.

Glad to have you Javelin 209 are you headed to the DOD tourney with all them boys? What do you think of that javelin 209? We almost bought one several years back, but got a sponsor deal from a skeeter dealership that they could touch.

I like the Jav.  I wish I had a bigger fishing deck, but it works.  I catch alot of slack about fishing in a fish and ski.... until weigh ins... ha!  It is a 409 not 209..  I fat fingered that one

Come to think of it, it was the 409 we looked at too  Seems like a good boss would put the troops first but I do know how that goes.

So how long before you all get to start fishing locally again? They all made it sound like it was way to cold to fish still.

I am ready to go right now!!  There are some private ponds/lakes that are open, the ones we usually fish are still frozen over.  Our first tournament is April 20th.

We are hoping in another 2 weeks to wet some lines.

I have been kicking around whether or not to sell the Jav. and buy a Champ or Ranger, I can't justify it... boats paid for and the motor is just getting broke in.

Boy I know what you mean when it comes to looking at new boats, it's hard to justify and new mortgage (can't call them loans anymore  ) when the one you got runs good. I have a Cobra now and love it, she is getting up there in years and the carpet and such is wearing but she still runs and fishes great.

First tourney in April, wow  I figured you all would head over to Truman or something in March for sure. Do you all have bass seasons there in Nebraska?

House... I mean boat payment??  I hear that!!  The new boats now days... whew!

We don't fish any lakes more than 100-120 miles away.  We fish on Wednesday's, perfect middle of the week bite, usually have the lakes to ourselves. 

No set season on bass, I haven't braved the ice up here for a couple of years, used to do it back in NE, Ia.

That's a great idea, fishing in the middle of the week, that is. We have a mini circuit here that fishes Thursday evenings during the summer and it is a blast. But the lake to yourself thing is out the window. It is on a smaller lake right here in Shreveport and the tournaments usually draw 65-80 boats 40 bux a team and 100 percent payback to 4 places so the money is decent for a cheap entry fee when you have that many boats.

Yeah but sometimes I have to leave teh comforts of home and really go fishing. Thsi is just my study lake. R&D WHich as soon as i get the new molds done I'll be sending you some things to try on your Jigs. See how the southern R&D is.

Oh something new that no one else has, I am all over that. Laurie and I will be looking forward to becoming part of your R&D program I seen that you said earlier today you were going to work on them. This new secret weapon, will it be the bait that will allow me to win the classic, cause I have spent a lot of money trying to find it and I might just get upset if you have had it all along

Most anybody has won on them is $2800 first place and big bass but I've made some improvemnets. There is no Magic bait. Just the Magician and his wand.

Here are the 14 states we still need:

Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Wyoming.
