I'm in the Salem area, Cal.  Mid- Willamette valley.  I grew up in MN and lived in OK for awhile.  Been here 19 years now.  There is some great untapped largemouth and smallmouth fishing in the area.  Most people here only fish trout, salmon, and steelhead.

Yes I remeber too only fishing for those instead of bass.  Most don't know what they're missing.

I remeber Fren River Resivor as a kid, but not much...old age ya know

Welcome to the board Gunny Woodpecker.  When the striped bass and shad come into the Potomac in the spring, you have to make your way up to Fletcher's Boat house.  Nothing like pulling in a huge striper in the Potomac.
