I currently live in Chicago Illinois, by way of Salt Lake City Utah, by way of Los Angeles California. My Dad says the fly fishing in Utah/Colorado/Idaho can't be beat.

Mike  don't give the new members a hard time  Jenniffer it is great that you have gotten to see so many new places... Most of the folks here in Louisiana are homebodies and some never leave the state... Thos of us from California were meant to travel and "see the world"

And I am one of those Louisiana people that ain't leaving the state.  Once you have seen Louisiana...everything else is downhill.

I think that little "brain teaser" you did showed the "lack" of importance of spelling.  As long as you have the first and last...or even some of the letters in the correct place...it can be figured out.

Louisianaians and spelling, do they even teach that in the schools here? There is reason they don't worry about spelling, it all looks right to them

It is taught in school.  But the concentration needs to be on pronouncing the names of the cities in south Louisiana, along with people's names....I mean the coonasses.

Yeah I guess when you are traveling you need to be able to pronounce the place you want to go just incase you need directions

awwww I never seem to have any trouble when I am adking for directions everyone is always very helpful... but lord dont ask a man to stop for directions... at least not mine he just doesnt do that... Everything should be on the map and if not the map well then it is on the GPS
