Next Shoot Out Lake?

Next Shoot Out will be on the lake of majority vote.  Shoot Out date is 23 Nov 2003.

Plenty of time to make plans and to decide on the lake....

Grands too far for a 20 dollar tournament. Fit in a date and put 100 up then a winner could get gas money back LOL

I have thought about doing a larger entry fee but that usually has a smaller turn out...might try it when no other tournaments are going on and everyone is bored  
A $50.00 entry fee including 10 for BB should not scare to many and could have a decent payout.

Red River is starting to edge out the others.....River always draws a good crowd....

Mike's right.......need a $100 singles winner take all, no big bass, no frills put your money up.  Don't need a whole lot of boats to get your gas money back!!!

Got to start worring about more rules and and strict details with that much money on the line.......

I will consider a little higher entry fees and keep the same pay out scale in the future....We'll call it the "High Stakes Shoot Out"

Will it be a 3 or 5 fish tourney?

Depends on which lake we go to.......any slot lake will be three fish limit, other wise it will be a five limit.  I keep slot lakes to a three fish limit so that a competitor fishing solo can weigh a tournament creel limit of overs.  If it was a five fish limit then only a team could weigh five overs and a individual is limited to only four overs.

Elwood, I enjoy the events you put on, it's fun and a lot of rib poking makes it even better. My comments were simply to say that Grand was a little far for this kind of event.

That said, If it fits, I'll play in the "High Stakes"

And fun is what these are about and I try to keep the places paid low so that if you do win or place, atleast you will get gas money back...

These things have almost become expected when the tournament seasons slow down and things get boring.....I get a lot of request for them....lol

I enjoy putting them on also....

High Stakes Shoot Out will probably happen Jan or Feb....I will have to see how much interest it will draw.

I also enjoyed the Monday evening Shoot Outs on the Red.....Think I will start those much earlier in 2014
