I've been fishing Grand Bayou a lot lately and needless to say that lake is on fire. Every time I go I catch a minimum of 15+ fish with a few over six.

Water temps 74-75, water clarity is normal grand bayou, lake is a little low. The fish are just about everywhere but the majority I've been catching are off shore. If only Gullo would put a fruit jar on down there. Lol

Grand Bayou is a little gem... Problem is it's little and you can't hold more than a club tournament there  :'(

February and November are phenomenal down there....

Good job on some early fall beasts ~c~ ~c~

Heading down this weekend. My favorite lake, especially this time of year

Not a good outing. Caught an over, under and dink. Gary Wagner did better number wise. Wind was vicious, muddy water pumping in from the west side of the bridge and lots of fresh, high water. Don't know if it was a mixture of the bluebird skies, wind or us just not figuring it out but it was a struggle either way.

My wife and I were on Grand Bayou for the first time today. As you said the wind was outrageous. Wife got one bite and that was it. We were late getting their and got on water around 10:30 this morning. Seems like nice lake for its size.

I fished down there Wednesday and did very well . I started the day deep and continued to work my way in. Magic depth that day was 7 feet for me. Most of my fish came on a football jig peanut butter and jelly color with a tailer to match. Also caught a few up real shallow on a trick worm in wat/red.
i didn't go back sat because I heard it got muddy. My buddy fished Friday and did very poor. He caught all of his fish deep on a c rig, not sure what color bait he used. It has been hit or miss for sure.
