done some researching, listened to you guys, and started pouring 10" worms today for the first time ever!
I made my own mold out of aluminium (I'm a machinist by trade) fashioned it after berkly power worm ,except my tail is a bit longer and has an extra twist in it. the egg sack is in the position so that a 5/0 hook hits it. I tried it out against the original store bought power worm in a kids swimming pool and mine has alot more action on the tail at rest. I have not ordered plastic or coloring yet, so I melted down so old worms and plastics and used that. The worms turned out beautiful, but the lake will be the real test. Can't wait to get out there and see if I can catch something on a bait that I designed and made. I will try and post some pictures.
I don't care if I don't have the biggest boat in the tournyment , I just want to have the biggest bag.

yeah they are closer to 12". I think they are llike 11.5". Supposed to be 10" , but it's kind of tricky to hit the mark exactly on my mold with the double twist in the tail. After I poured it and removed then stretched it out to measure it was over 10". But thats alright I'll give a try, who knows maybe it'll help me get the kicker fish we are always shooting for.

Nice!

Wish I had the resources and the skill to make my own metal molds.
