Well, I didn't want to have to do this, but I have a problem with this Dobyns Savvy Series I got from Ron. I bought this thing to be my new frog rod. I mounted my Curado200E7 spooled with 50# Power Pro to it, and tied on the pad crusher. I have been using this combo together for a few weeks, and have noticed a BIG problem now that I switched to the Dobyns. No matter how bad or slow the frog bite seems to get, I just cant seem to put the  ^-^ thing down. I have to almost force myself to stop throwing this combo and pick up another rig. I just enjoy throwing frogs soo much more now with this stick. Its soo bad that Im gonna have to order a SS704C to mount my Chronarch50E to so that I will start using another rig more. I bet when you read this post at first you were a little shocked at a complaint being posted at the rod. Just thought I would have a little fun with you guys. I did send an email similar to this to Ron to get him, and he said he was sweating a bit at first.  lo

If you don't have one, get one, this is the best frog rod I have ever used. Thanks again Ron.

I think that Team Lew's will pair up awesomely with any quality rod. I have never in my life time felt a more balanced rod & reel than my 7'1" White Ice with that Team Lew's on it. It is just a great reel and I have found it isn't fair to judge another rod against that White Ice unless it has that reel on it.

I would like to try out a Lew but all of their top of the line don't come in left hand. Hopefully that will change soon.

So are Robyn's are like Pringles potato chips? Once you have one you gotta have more. Guess I should be looking for a heavy rod soon.

That's my frog rod, love it.  Have an Okuma Citrix with 50 Power Pro on it.  Just have to learn how to catch a fish with it.

Yes...yes they are. Plan on buying two or three off the start.

Its the balance of the rod that makes people crazy about them.  Not the only thing...but the first thing you will notice.
