I'm not sure what brand break caliper you have, but mine is made my UFP. With mine I can manually operate the master cylinder with a flat head screwdriver. There is a tab you hold on the bottom master cylinder and insert a screwdriver through a little slot on the bottom and it operarates the push rod.

It's suppose to take two people to do it, but I figured out you can stick another screwdriver in there and wedge the tab so you can pump the master cylinder and go back there and blead the air off.  ;D

Here is a link showing what I TRIED to explain. it's on Adobe page 27

Bobby,
That's a great resource as well , thanks for posting that link ! I have the original manual that came with my trailer "somewhere". Ill have to hunt it down now   I'm lucky in that the two previous owners kept every piece of literature and receipt they ever got for it. Ill let you know which brand mine is ASAP.  I have to say I'm as lazy as they come when it comes to work. So I get in , get it fixed and get it out the door as fast as possible   :)  25 years of " Flat Rate" pay scale   Was pretty convenient since I was putting tires on also . Ill definitely try your method also now :). The bad thing about getting my brakes working was that they now vibrate bad :). Ill have to turn the rotors and replace or true up the pads but ill try and whip up an article on that process to share as well.
