Innovating the Topwater Frog...

Just picked up this new topwater bait at Walmart.

I cast it into the pond by my house a few times and i'm impressed with how real it looks when you retrieve it.
The frog's legs extend on the retrieve and contract during pauses to replicate real frog movements. On the pause the frog will sit at a 45 degree angle with just its head poking out of the water once again to replicate the resting position of a frog.

It looks pretty awesome so far. I'm excited to catch some big bass with this.

That looks interesting.  To bad I couldn't find them anywhere online to buy.  I couldn't even find that style frog on the website.  What was the price on that?

I had a couple similar to that about 10 years ago and it was awesome.  I lost both of the ones I had and been looking for another one since.  I don't normally shop WalMart but might have to sneak in the back door and check them out.  Thanks for the heads up.  Ron

I got it at Walmart for about 7.99, but I couldn't find them online either when i searched afterwards. I received this link in a newsletter which is how I discovered them. http://www.lunkerhunt.com/2014exclusive/

Lisa are you associated with this company Just wondering because saw other post about the frog also?

I have been bombarded by information today about this very product. I try very hard to give the benefit of the doubt to every person on the site when they post because I like to think that bass fishermen are a "cut above". I hope that the posts that I have seen on all the sites that I have visited that look strikingly alike and one that was almost identical to this one are simply an attempt by pro staff to gain some exposure for a product that they believe in and that it will be left at that.
