Most Amazing Day 0n Caddo 3/19

Fished Caddo 10am til 5:30pm, water color clear to slight stain, really never looked at surface temp, but sure did keep an eye on depth 3.6 to 3.9 was a real key along with water color. I lost count of how many overs I put in the boat 10 to 12 I guess, all fish came on a baby brush hog. With the biggest going 8.35 lbs, thanks to Doug Johnson for hauling that fish around in his live well for me to take to weigh at BassLife station. Funny story on that fish is we checked it on scale in boat 9.1 lbs, two hours later at sub station 8.35 lbs. We rechecked it on same boat scale 8.40 lbs. This fish lost half a lb in the live well, never seen any thing like that before. All fish were spawn out females

Ron, no mount until I get one better then 12.30, but yes to another hat pin. Just bring two to the BassLife Banquet.  BassLife will save the money on a mount and I have lots of space on my fishing hat

The best answer to that would be to google Bass Life Associates. They fund many projects, one of being a Trophy Replica Program where a bass caught and released after being taken to a weigh station will get you a replica mount 8 to 8.99 lbs/ $150.00, 9 to 9.99 lbs/$75.00 & 10 & over lbs/free.

Sounds like a blast wayne!  Guess all those females are trying to regain nutrients and energy after spawning.  I hope they eat like that in a couple days!
