Ended up in 12th place. Day one was killer for him because he blew his motor.

Considering he started out 15lbs with a blown motor behind he did VERY well.

Crochet and Herren ran up into some canals off lake authur ..

Faircloth ran just as far in the oposite direction.....  He was south of Beumont.

Long runs were the name of the game.........  But Faircloth said he used to run like that to win club tourneys there too..

Go Dennis! That sucks he blew his motor though, I think it's crazy how far they ran though KVD on the calcaseiu and guys in lake Arthur that's amazing! Dennis is one guy I would love to sit and talk with about the art we call bass fishing I think I could learn a hell of a lot!

KVD is not a runner and will always stay close even if he knows he might not be on the best fish. He doesnt like to gamble Lochs or Long runs.
