I've used Uncle Josh pork frogs for decades and a few years ago decided to cast one in plaster.
A few days ago I though - why not make a skin color different then the meat chunk just like in the real
baits?
When the tails flap, both light and dark sides alternate.

Who knows? Part of the appeal of the trailer may be because of the tail action.

Creel Limit, pm me your address, I'll send you a few. Medium (#4) or large (#1)? The one in the
photo is a #1.

Those look great.  To me it reminds me of a baby bass color.  If you would like to do a bait swap between the two of us I would be down for that.

Sure. Couldn't find your website.

That would be because I don't have one at the moment.  Life has kind of caught up to me recently and the bait making has been put on the back burner for the time being.  I still make baits in small amounts for myself, friends and one business but other than that I have had to take a good deal of time away from it.  I am currently making the 702 craw, kodiak craw 4.25, a 6 inch full round finesse worm and a 7 inch hand pour worm.

HD send me your address also. Swap not necessary but I'd be glad to see a few of your lures.

and this

Cheap and easy to pour (except laminates). The trick is to seal the plaster, use oil as a lure release
and have a sharp razor blade handy to cut off excess.
