This will be the first time I have been to Falcon. I have to say I am a little excited. Anyone got any pointers?

Everything I've heard is that it's been tough fishing.  Getting better lately though.  Be sure and check the fishing report at Falcon Lake Tackle.  Don't bring any wussy gear.  If it's windy, find out where Tigre "ramp" is.  Magnum watermelon red fluke fished carolina rigged or Texas rigged has worked for me.  If you go on the Mexican side, be sure you have a license but there are plenty of fish on the US side.  Good Luck!

Bob, it is definitely better than it was, but still very pattern specific if you want to hammer them.. You have my number, give me a shout and I will try to get you pointed in the right direction..

Main thing is take heavy enough equipment to get the job done..

Only heavy rods for Jigs and plastics and a minimum of 20lb Flouro  Most use 25 and 15-17 for cranks..
