I bought a 97 bass tracker pro 17 and need to hook up the batteries but have no clue how they were hooked up. Trying to find a picture of the set up. I know the on board battery charging system is gone . I just want to hook up everything else

On my Tracker(190TX) there were 2 batteries; a starting battery and a trolling motor one. Coming from the motor you should 2 BIG wires and plug 1 into Pos and 1 into Neg on the starting battery(mine were labeled or at least should be Red and Black). Coming in from the Port side you should have a plastic wrapped bundle of wire(2 ends) that is all the "accessories". Can plug that into your starting battery or the trolling one, your call. Then last thing will be coming from the front of the boat you will have another wrapped bundle(2 wires) that you can plug onto the trolling battery. Should just have 6 wire ends total since you said the charger is gone. Would recommend Wing nuts for the connections so you can take em off easier if needed. I have my Talons and a charger hooked up or would take a pic for ya!! Hope this helps!

If you call 417-873-4555 diagrams for the boat, you'll need date and model and serial number. The serial number should be on the transom. I wouldn't hook anything but the trolling motor to the trolling motor battery, and fuse everything as per the wiring diagram as a precaution I'd put a 50 amp fuse or breaker on the trolling motor wiring. Good luck and let use know how you made out.

well i used my multi meter and figured out everything had to replace a couple of broken pins on the wiring harness by the console but it was overall pretty painless. thats for the info i may need diagrams in the future.
