Basketball and baseball in high school.  Tried to play college basketball but was too short to get much of a look.  Played collegiate golf at Southern Arkansas University.
(wish they would have had College Bass Fishing when I was in college)
I went to a school that didn't play football in HS.  Would have played in a heartbeat.  LOVE THE GAME.  As a matter of fact, I'm a HS football coach at that same HS now.  They started the program here about 8 years ago.

I was on the track team my senior year in HS. I high jumped, ran high & low hurdles, triple jumped & long jumped. Even threw the shot put in one meet & ran a couple of distance relays a few times. No sports in college, afterwards did some kick boxing for a few years.  :)

Ooooh, bragging time, haven't done this for a while....I'm in.

High Scool Baseball. Was ranked #1 as a pitcher in the state of Maryland in 1987 as a junior with the best record/lowest era. Had a number of pro teams scouting me. Then I made a mistake, wrong place, wrong time, wrong decision. That was the end of that.

That moved me from 1990-92 to play for the All-Navy softball team in Japan where we often traveled to Korea, Hawaii, Phillipines and Okinawa to play in huge tournaments. Of my 3 year tour in Japan I think I was traveling playing softball for 2 years of it. Great time!

Presently, I live my love for the game through my son. Who is a junior in high school now playing ball in Pensacola, Florida. He's 5-10, 180 and throws mid-80's. He plays on a showcase team out of Jacksonville, Fl  called the Jacksonville Heat and they won the World Series down in Orlando last summer. Last summer he also played in a tournament and made it to the Championship game where the Atlanta Braves opened up Turner Field for them....that was super-cool!!

Pic is of my son batting at Turner Field.....one Proud Daddy here!

Well to be honest I didn't play any sports in high school , I played a ton of street ball ( basketball) till midnight trying to be " Like Mike" , usually but that's about it . My "junior" year was spent freezing my rear off on the wide open plains of FT Sill Ok.  The year I was " supposed " to graduate was spent in the sand at FT Bragg Nc. I averaged 20 miles a week on the cross country team and boxed on the battalion Light Heavyweight  team until I headed for the  "Land of The Morning Calm". I guess my "High School" years were a little different   But very educational :)

The only thing I did in high school was be a Flag Girl in the band.  Was a cheerleader in elementary school.  I was more into FBLA and entering the business contests.  Actually came in 5th place in one of the state competitions.

I played 'em all in high school.  Was All-state in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track.
Went to Oklahoma State to play basketball, for legendary coach Henry Iba, but broke left ankle first year, and right ankle second year.  Then I got married.  That's not a sport.
Played on a world class fastpitch softball team in El Dorado, Ar for a few years.  Went to the nationals one year.
I thought golf was for sissies until I got in the work force.  Now it's about all I do besides fish.  Still competitive at age 69.
I've had a wonderful life, playing music all night and golf or fishing all day!  But getting old and fat at the same time is hard.   ~xyz
