I own a few Team Daiwa x 103hsdf reels but have a 103hva (i think it is). My question is could I order replacement hsdf bearings and install them in my 103hva? Or would I only be able to order the same bearings? They appear very similar if not the same. Reels on the outside are completely identical. Its just hard for me to ever use it because it is not near as smooth as my hsdf reels so if possible, I'd love to upgrade to the hsdf bearings.

If you measure the bearing you can find replacements. Pro Reel will be able to help with where, he might have them I know he carries some upgrades.

well, if you want the daiwa bearings, you would have to buy a complete spool to get the bearing that is behind the drive pin. They do sell the other spool bearing thats in the side cover. My recomendation would be firts to clean and flush your stock bearings by soaking in lighter fluid and then spraying brake clean through the bearing to rinse it out. Then add one drop of oil and see if there was a big improvement. If not, then you can order from me or from Boca, a very good replacement bearing is all stainless steel or in a ceramic hybrid. The boca lightning hybrids are very smooth and free spinning, they will also be cheaper than the daiwa bearings. You would need to be able to remove the drive pin to change the main spool bearing. You need a bearing pin tool to do that or you can customize some duckbill pliers for limited use to remove the pin.
