Just curious as to what is your favorite lure and the reason why?

Mine has to be the 'poppin frog' I catch more fish on other lures, but I absolutley love to fish my Spro Poppin' Frog.

(I almost mispelled poppin'  ;D  Had Poopin' frog first, glad I proof read)

Bobby Saffel

Has to be a sweet beaver on 3/8 oz sinker. Could throw it all day.

MObasser

Mine would be a 3/8oz Jig with a Rage Craw for my trailer.

bassindude

I love shallow cranks.  Balsa B's are my favorite, but down here there aint much call for them with all the grass.  Been ripping a lipless when I aint punching, and I enjoy that.  Jim

I don't know if I have a favourite but if I was forced to choose it would probably be crankbaits.
The only things that matter in life: Jeeps, guns and fishing.

Mine is a 1/2 oz lipless crankbait. I have one tied on all year and catch fish all year on one. Favorite colors are any form of chrome blue or shad colors. Favorite brands are Strike King or XCalibur.

Most of our lakes have a certain amount of grass so I choose a skinny dipper ::)....I can fish it over the grass or let it drop and fish it in front of grass ~gf....I can crawl it slowly down deep or rip it on top and
anywhere in between ~cf....a very versatile lure. ~c~....and the big reason....Big Bass love it...!!! ~roflmao

Jig without a question.
Shallow, deep, grass, wood, swimmin on the top and in open water.

Bomber 4a without a question is my favorite bait to throw.  I always have one tied on regardless of the situation, it may not be what I'm catching them on, but if the fish aren't biting what they are supposed to be I can usually get a few on that little crank.

The early bird may indeed get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese

This!

Jig, with a rage craw or RI sweet beaver. Most versatile lure period, pop it, drag it, sweep it, swim it, rip it, shallow, deep and any where in between.

Used to be a frog, but now I'd say a good ole worm. They always produce and like a jig can be fished a million ways. If there was more structure around I'd toss a jig more. If I had to pick one worm it'd be a 7.5 Black with Chartreuse Tail Berkley Power Worm. Stained water fish around here love them.

Blacknredflake

Baby Torpedo in shad color.  Or a texas rigged Zoom Black n Red Flake :)

Early mornings n late evenings when they hittin on top. Torpedo is my go-to.  When they aint hittin the top. I go with my texas rig.
BITE THE DAMN WORM!

Tough one
I would go devils horse for most of the year, catch lots of fish and some big fish with it. Plus its just a lot of fun to fish topwaters. If all else fails senkos

scbassfanatic

VMC shakey head with a zoom trick worm, finess worm, or baby brush hog.

bass78

Mine would be Bite It Bait's Double X in a Junebug Red.  Its small and compact but it has a meaty appearance to it.  I have had more luck on this lure since I started fishing it last year than any other. Here's one of the fish caught with it.

This is a tough call I've had great success this past year on both the Bandit Series 200 crankbait and the Strike King 3/8 oz Firetiger Spinner bait.

Hard to say, but since pitching and flipping is my favorite way to fish I'll say a 4" beaver style bait.

Camden

favorite? thats a tough one.
of course the two things i'll alwas have tied on is a 3-5' square bill and a 4.5" Pro edge baits jriv craw

Beagle

Mine is a 6 inch trick worm. I probably catch 75% of my fish with it. I work is on a Shaky Head, drop shot, wacky, flic shake, heck ive even rigged it texas style about an inch down the worm and walked the dog as a top water.

bassmaster3541

I'd have to say a Biffle Bug or the poppin' frog. Really depends what kind of water I'm fishing. Clear water lake that is rocky I'm throwing a Biffle Bug a ton, murky weedy water I'm throwing a frog a ton

I had to think about this one for a while, but I went back to my first instinct.  A hollow belly frog has to be it.  Of course, I don't throw one right now during the winter, but I always wish I was.  Frogs got me back into fishing about 10 years ago and I still love to throw them.  They are a big confidence bait for me .  I'm a huge fan of Spro frogs but this year I used a KVD frog and like those too.
