I'm headed up to Clinton, MO to the Nitro Factory. I'm planning to get there Friday morning to pick up my boat and take a tour. I will take some pics and share what I see a learn. You can read my post in High Performance Bass Boats where I brag about Nitro Customer Service and why I am heading up that way.

I am VERY please with Tracker Marine Group right now!!!!!!! ~c~

I hope I feel the same way when I get the boat home after a 9 hour trip!!!!!!  :-\

Made it to Springfield, MO in time to go to Bass Pro. They are doing renovations so most of it was closed.....ughhhh! Sure will be nice when they are finished though.

I'm excited to get my boat in the morning and tour the Nitro factory. I sure hope that's not a let down too after 9 hours of driving!!!!!

Bummer about the mother store. It's quite impressive.

Did too hit the outlet store at bass pro? They usually have some awesome deals!

When you buy a boat from the factory, where do you take when you have problems?

watsjigs

I don't think you can buy a boat from the factory...I was picking my boat up after repairs. The factory was impressive. They can build 14 boats a day and their quality control is stringent on details.

I'm even happier to be a Nitro owner!

Now before this turns into a bash Nitro opportunity, please consider that I am not putting down on any other boat or even comparing Nitro to other boats. I'm happy with what I have and what I paid for it!

I think that would be an amazing experience as a boat owner , no matter what boat you owned! I'd love to visit the Ranger factory . But wouldn't turn down a tour of any boat factory . Did they let you take any pictures ? Did you learn a lot of things about how your boat is made that you didn't realize before ?
Stop by the Garage and let me know if you have Maintenance issues that you need assistance with.

I live in Springfield and our store is almost ALWAYS undergoing renovation!  Noticed they had all of the boats out of the store tonight.  Gearing up for Santa's Wonderland.

Sounds like the tour was fun.

Yea, I didn't even know about the outlet section. Totally missed it!

If you ever have a question about how Nitros are made and if KVD or any of the other pros that run Nitros have "special made boats" (Evers, Defoe, Horton, Clunn and the list goes on) please call Richard at the factory and ask him.

As a company they are providing jobs in America for a lot of people. I'm glad they are able to produce that many boats a day even when our economy is in a slump.

I was impressed with the hands on approach. I thought I would see more machines doing the work, but not so. There was one station that sprayed on fiberglass to the bottom of the top cap so it could get into all the corners and tight spots.

They manage the weights of the boats very close to insure product satisfaction and cost efficiency. I saw a new Z-9 weighing 2500lbs before a motor was put on and Richard said it was perfect weight.

Sorry, but I could not take pics inside the factory.

The 2013 Mercury ProXS is incredible looking.

I was also impressed with the cleanliness of such a big and busy factory. It was well organized and nothing was out of place. Another way to insure low costs and no waist.
