Took some friends out this past weekend.  Water was high and clear.  I found fish everywhere.  Threw a purple glitter 7" Gambler.  Worked the edges aroung 30' or so from the lake edge in the cat tails.  Worked the west wall by clewiston, worked the east side of rita and around kramer.

Nice day all and all.  Had lunch at Rolands.  Only down side was my trolling motor was acting up.  Come to find out lower unit has been sucking water.  Think it will be covered by warranty....got my fingers crossed ~shade

Only got to fish there on a guided tour by Spetro and it was a 4 day blast. Caught lots of nice fish to 7-8 pounds. Gonna have to do that again one day  :-*

Have got to get back down there again - been too long!!  Good luck with the trolling motor issues.

Yes you do!  Jury is still out on the trolling motor.  First time in 20 years I had an issue with a Minn Kota! ~fff  ~fff ~fff ~fff ~fff ~fff

I don't do much flippin unless I'm "T" fishing....to much work.  Water Management is pumping the lake like crazy due to the storms.  Better get down here quick.  I figure by Jan. there will be shallow water everywhere.

As for the  ~rant ~xyz ~rant ~xyz ~rant ~xyz ~rant ~xyz trolling motor.  Seems the shaft had a pin hole.  filled the lower unit with water.  Even though the shaft is covered, the damage is not.  My opinion is that all newer trolling motors suck!

$450.00 to fix a motor that is barely three years old!
