Crazy to see!! My Pastor told a story of a fishing buddy of his that was digging a hook out in a bass's mouth and something "woops"ed him but he thought it was just the hook. He kept the bass for later, went home, felt sick so went to bed w/o cleaning the bass. Looked at the fish the next day and was a baby water moccasin in there and it had bit him! He was ok after a couple days.

I have to admit, I jumped when I enlarged the picture and probably would have tossed that fish and screamed like a little girl!  That is crazy!  I am assuming it was still alive for the most part???

Between that and Rudy's story, I may have to give up bass fishing, or just cut the line and let him go!

They never mentioned if it was still alive or not.

Oh nonononono. That's just evil. Thanks for creating my new nightmare. Lo lo.

On a side note it made me think I should throw more giant worms.

Rhixso

Hard time making out the second pic. Is that a claw or is it the open mouth of a snake?

baitfish

I think its a birds claw and tail.

It's a birds foot

Very cool pics!  I always check the gullet for signs of what they are feeding on.  Never seen a snake or bird.  Very cool.

duckhuntmcnutt

read something on here about a guy on flag lake on barksdale afb catching a fish that regurgitated a 12 snake.  since reading that i always check because me and snakes get along about as well as snow and fire.  My dad would never let us put little bass in our duck pond at home because he always said a 2lbs bass would eat a baby duckling.

I remember one day on Okeechobee I was in my first bass boat.  Couldn't get a hit all morning. I threw everything in my tackle box at them.  Well fed up and getting bumed-out, I decided to have lunch.  I was drifting around some lilly beds while eating lunch.  I was watching the small eclipse black birds jumping from pad to pad.  All of a sudden a monster bass shot up through the water, devouring a black bird.

In discus I threw what was left of my lunch in the water and left, knowing that I didn't have any rubber black birds in my tackle box. ~shade ~shade
