So, being the second owner and fixing up some small stuff, I noticed the flow-rite valve control was stuck in Auto.  Went to have my boat guy replace the switch while he did some small items.    I was going to do it but said, what the heck, fix that too.

Called today and said the cable doesn't move.   I did a search on here and it appears this is a big time Tracker issue.

Has anyone replaced the cable?   My boat guy said he thinks the gas tank needs to be removed and it will not be cheap.

Anyone go thru this issue?

Thanks
Peter

I have a 2002 TX 175 xt. If you can find out how to remove the gas tank I'd really like to know. From what I can see the rear deck isn't removable without cutting some welds.

As far as the cable goes you should be able to fish tape a new one in with out removing the gas tank.  I'll have to check mine, I did rebuild the areator pump because it had been disasembled and put back together wrong and it didn't pump right. I didn't really look at the routing of the cable but I saw it while working on the pump, luckily I didn't have to go that far yet.
