We are riding down for one of the days, its about a 2 hr trip. Hard to do overnight with dogs here, and no one to baby sit them

Ok, what days are you guys gonna be in orlando? I am planning on scheduling Feb 22-24 off work (plus the weekend), you guys aren't coming up here before that are ya?

Laurie and I are playing it by ear, meaning after everyone leaves us at Okee, We are planning on staying there until time to head north for the classic. Unless of course we get a better offer or something else that just needs to be done

maybe some fishing on Toho but I would be afraid I would sore lip too many fish for those guys to handle so I better stay off the water. Are there any hot spots we could try out around the area $:-\$

I am tentively scheduled to arrive the 17th in Winter Haven and staying till the 22nd somewhere in Florida-----------I think we booked one night at Okeechobee, Sunday I beleive then back to Winter Haven at the condo/hilton----aka Ho-Jos.....Gotta let the dog out BRB

From where I live....Stickmarsh is 1hr, Lake Kissimmee 30 minute car ride and 15 minute boat ride...Lake Toho 30 mins...Winter Haven Chain 1.5hrs...Alligator Chain 5mins....

I'll go ahead and schedule them days off, if you guys wanna go somewhere up here cool, if not, then I'll chillax for a day....

I won't be able to make Okee (the Office of Wallet Thickness has declined the trip), but I'll be more than happy to show you guys around this area and get you on the water somewhere if ya want.

George Welcome is a member here and him and his son Scott are full-time guides on the marsh. If you look him up I'm sure he would be more than happy to help you out if you want to fish that water.

That would be the trip.....if you could pull that one off. Long dirt road I believe leading to the marsh.....be ready for that.

I agree Spetro..That dirt road is the only bad thing about the Marsh
