Broke into upgrading the electronics finally. Found some really good deals on an HDS 8 with Insight, Ram mount and HDS 7 Gen 2 as well as structure scan. Going from grayscale sonar to full on imaging. Pretty excited.

Congrats though! I was amazed going to a 520c from what I had years ago! Can't wait to see some screen shots. BTW- Be sure to leave the GPS #'s on there for us poor souls that don't have one of these...... yet!

Very nice. I also recently moved to 2 HDS units and structure scan from a B&W unit, and the difference is out of this world. You are going to love your new toys, enjoy

Yet to finish install of transducers but I'm mounted and powered to all units. Ordered a custom plate to mount to jack plate and it's en route, then I'll have it all complete. Couple install pics

Very nice, you're going to go through a stage of non fishing. Oh you'll be on the water but your baits will rarely get wet. It doesn't last but a few trips

SHA WEET..... Those are sweet indeed. Lowrance makes great products and I've got a lot of their goodies...

HDS7, HDS8, LSS1, LWX1, Sonic Hub, Nmea and Ethernet Networked.

Man your setups look great, almost got me wanting to flush mount my 7 right in the bow where my old flasher panel is now ! Sometime between now and tax time I will have a HDS8 RAM mounted at the console like yours

Deals seem to pop up all the time. Gotta keep your eyes peeled. You'll land one soon enough. I got lucky with that deal on the 8. The Ram was included. I scored healthy on the 7 as well from the big auction site brand new. Really excited about taking fishing to the next level.
Appreciate all the compliments. Love installing things and this was definitely satisfying. Gotta give credit to beast96z. We go way back to the days we were installing cams and heads in cars and he still has it when it comes to a thorough, thought out install. He had prior experience and I used a lot of his ideas getting it all in.
