You Sir need to go by a lottery ticket, Laurie says you didn't have very many entries and still was drawn. So buy an extra one and give it to the granddaughter for pulling your name  ~roflmao

I would like to thank everyone for participating. We love having on line get together's and it's bonus when we can learn stuff from each other. This is a great way to do it.

If you enjoyed this be sure to send Mother a message and let her know and thank her for all the writing.

Also please be sure to give each of the sites sponsors a visit and chance at your business before the others. Each of our sponsors knows you have a choice and would love to earn your business. They support us, so we need to support them when we can.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest either by watching or by posting... I really enjoyed reading your posts and playing along as the contest went on.

Jared you shouldn't mess with Mother Nature especially when all I have to do is write numbers on raffle tickets ;)

I hope to see some of the comradaree come back that we used to have during the contests.

as some of you did see... if you had trouble posting you need to check your profiles and make sure that in your settings you have the "Do Not" warn on new replies since last post... checked. That can be found by going to your Profile>> Modify Profile>> Look and Payout>> find  Don't warn on new replies made while posting. and Check the box...

Happy to see the awesome amount of posts submitted during the contest. There is a lot of good fishing info to be had when someone takes the time to read each post. While the contest was in full swing I had not taken the time to read all the great techniques which have been used to put fish in the boat. It is great to see there are a bunch of people who are as committed to this little green fish as I am. It is even better that we all have a place we can come to and share our experiences.
I am thankful for Mike and Laurie who take the time to put this site on the internet. It has to take a lot of effort on their part to keep it going and growing. I wish to give shout out to the mods as well. For they are willing to keep the this site going and growing when Mike and Laurie are attending to their personal lives.
Without all of you this site would not be a success  8)
Thank You  ~c~

Thanks bassn1, we all work hard to keep the site working but the real thanks go to each and every one of our Sponsors. They provide the products that we are able to give away and they help to pay the server costs and other fees that we have to pay to function here. Without each of them we could not and would not have Ultimate Bass!

In light of that please click on their banners here so that they know you came from our site and visit their websites. Let them know when you order their products that you came via Ultimate Bass and tell them thank you for sponsoring Ultimate Bass. You may not think it is important but it is and they see it.

Sorry I couldn't join, I have a few issues trying to get Microsoft Outlook out of this dam computer and get my 2003 back in. I had taken my computer in for some problems and the idiot decided to upgrde my stuff and it took me 6 yrs to get the old stuff working to where I knew it, now I have this 2007 crap and can't enter any contests or have no idea as to how to send my answers in because some crazy looking thing comes up like I'm making a letter or some crap . I'm so pissed, I hate new stuff on computers especially when I didn't ask for anything new. Lucky it was only $40 to fix but just because these computer geeks think everyone is on their same level of knowledge they take it upon themselves to put the latest up to date crap in which I didn't ask for nor did he ask if I wanted it. So I'm asking the wife if we need this Microsoft Outlook crap or if there's another way to get my old format which was so easy to send my contest answers in with the green line after I hit send. I want that back.
Never say no time to go fishin'

Swimming a 3/8oz Strike King Tour Grade swim jig (white) with a Big Bite Cane Thumper (ale wive) in the tops of trees.  If a few limbs come out together  I cast to the middle and let it fall straight down to where I think the V in the limbs are, then swim it smoothly back.  Caught a 20lb bag like that last week.

The early bird may indeed get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese

pondboss

Also what has been working is long casts with a Strike King 3xd (Blue Back Herring) in 12-15 ft of water.  Loading the boat bouncing the bait off of a sunken log cabin.

The early bird may indeed get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese

And when those 2 patterns are slow I throw a Carolina rig up on the flats in about 4-8 feet with a 1/2oz brass weight 2-3 foot leader followed by Big Bite Baits bush hog in cotton candy.

The early bird may indeed get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese
