Truman lake is awesome for crappie in the summer Mike. The bass fishing has gone downhill the last several years.

Crappies good eatin :-* Hate to hear about the bass fishing... It's been way to long since I've been up there. Heck when I was fishing it, Truman was in the top five of the best bass lakes in the nation...

There has been a common theme among the posts. At dark, morning or night, top water is key. I've see everything from spooks to buzzbaits. Then it switches to deep water dredging. Lots of fish catching posts. Thanks everyone.

There is 8 minutes left... Get them last few in :-*

You all and wacky rigging in 20+ feet of water... How do you let it sink that long. I'd be pulling my hair out... I know it's part of the appeal to bass but it kills me to wait on a half ounce sinker to get that deep. ~roflmao
