Lake Fork 2012 Head Count

Lets go ahead and get a head count of everyone that is going to make the Rally this year.  If possible, lets say where everyone is staying, and when you will arrive.  After we get a good head count, we can go ahead and try to plan a menu.  I will go first:

This will be totally hit or miss but Laurie and I might make it over for one day? The problem is we'll be headed to Oklahoma right around that time? Funds will be the issue (but ain't it always)

I just spoke to Freddy at LFM, and he said there are rooms available now, but there is a big tournament that same weekend and if you want a room, now is the time to reserve it.  The cost for a motel room is $84.75 after tax for two people.  You dont pay now, just need a credit card number to hold the room.  We reserved a suite, but there are none of those left.  He said there are 5 rooms next to my suite, and if you give him my name he will put us all close together.  Otherwise, there is no telling where your room will be.

Come by spend a day and then run up to Grand.     It's only a 4.5 hour drive from Fork to Grand.

Kelly and I will be  there 11-14th but will be staying at a buddies camp right down the road.

BigDBasser (Nathan Dorton) and BassSacker (Bob Sackrieter) will be there 12 -14 .  We will be staying in my trailer at Axton's.

wish I could make it...We have a Texas OU party in honor of my Mom who died. She was a BIG OU fan....every year we have a cook out at my sisters....The game and and party is that weekend....afraid I'll miss the rally.

Not sure about grilling as there is not alot of room by the hotel rooms, although we have a suite which we could use to cook.  There is the restaurant which had some decent food.  The thing we ran into last time was everyone wants to fish till dark and after cooking, that makes for a really late meal.  Llanden and I could cook some Jambalaya between fishing on Friday to eat Friday night if thats what everyone would like.  Other than that, I say lets keep it simple, and have everyone plan their own meals.  I am open for suggestions/ideas.

The suites only have a Sink and a Microwave, so they are not condusive to a lot of cooking.

I personally would rather Eat out and let someone else clean up the mess.   

I know at least one night we will be eating at the Itallian place up the street.  They have GREAT food.

The Food at LFM is good too and reasonably priced.
