Our next event will be on the Red River, Sept. 15th, at Teague Boat Ramp. This will be our last regular season event of the year, with the Classic vote/rules meeting following weigh-in. As usual, I will be cooking BBQ for everyone...but please let me know how many are coming (your family is also invited), so I know how much food to bring. I encourage anyone interested in fishing with us next year, or just want to check our trail out, to attend the weigh-in and BBQ. I will put up a separate thread (at LouisianaPoormans.com) for people to let me know who all is coming to the weigh-in/BBQ.

Please remember that there will be NO LOBBYING for Classic lake selection and if you have any relevant information (like BB Hosston will be drained) on a certain lake, please post it here on this thread so that the information can be verified and then I will announce that information prior to the voting...do NOT make any last minute comments, that would sway voting, that have not been verified. Every Classic qualified member will be given a piece of paper and we will hold a secret ballot, with the Classic lake selection being the lake that receives the most votes...straight and simple.

If you have fished enough events to be Classic qualified (5 of more), but cannot attend the weigh-in, you may still have your Classic lake selection count in the voting process. I will be accepting "absentee ballots" the week before, due by midnight Sept. 8th, just email your votes (individually) to:
