Somehow, all that missed me completely.  I was out with the family and saw the clouds way off in the distance then came in and saw the news on what was going through our part of the county.

Based on what you have I would definitely start out with the crank bait (or maybe the spinner bait if you want to try that) as a storm can get the bait fish stirred up and the bass into a chasing mood.  Even the Rat-l-trap would be good, they all mimic bait fish just different actions and sounds.  If you don't get anything on that then I would switch to one of the worms texas rigged, probably the black one and throw it as close as you can to structure; bridge posts, brush, stumps, anything in the water and slowly work it around.  If you had a creature bait I would say use that but unless you have already bought more which I would have but I don't think you have.

Not sure what part of town you're in but good to see it didn't do any harm your way. I'm in Middle River and it didn't do anything serious here as well.

Thanks for the tips, I'm gonna start Crank and go from there. I was in Walmart earlier and had the itch to but but didn't wanna just spend money to spend. Not in the funds right now to do that. I'm going to see Dylan Bundy pitch tomorrow so that was my new lure money. Damn I wish I was rich :'(

I am down in Virginia Beach, the storm moved up to the west of me and didn't really hit us at all.  Had tornado's and heavy wind and rain all around but hardly anything right here near my place.

It won't take long before you start seeing some things you want to try and buying a little here and there is how you build up your supply.  It would be nice to be rich though, couldn't imagine going into BPS, Gander Mtn, Cabela's or any other store like that and just buying what you want without regard to money.

I would go with a big worm up tight to shore. In my experience, during/after rain when you see live worms washed into the street and stuff everywhere, they wash into the ponds too right on the shoreline, so the fish move up to there for easy food. I like putting my boat right up against the shore and casting parallel with the shoreline and just dragging a big worm in. A couple weeks ago doing this I onlky caught 4 fish the whole time, but they were a 7 pounder, two 4's and a 3, and lost one other big one. I have caught countless big fish on worms during and after rain.
If I wasn't doing that, I would use some type of frog lure, I usually use a spro popper up tight to shore.
The rain also gets the frogs going, at least where I live
