Is anyone familiar with the new 210? I just bought one with a 250 pro xs, it has a 10 inch HD jack plate, 25p power tech 3 blade. Just wondering what height most like to run at right now i have it set at 3.25" below pad, seems to do ok but i feel like it should be a touch faster. The boat/motor is brand new just turned 4 hrs have not ran wot yet, but at 5000 rpm its at 61 mph. Thanks for the help

Get the motor broken in first! You're at a good starting point on the JP. Once the motor is broken-in then start coming up 1/4" at a time (one click on the HD plate) until you gain rpm without a speed increase, then drop it back down one click. That will be your optimum setting for that prop. Be sure to watch your water pressure. It should be 12.5 to 15PSI minimum at WOT.

I'd also look at trying other props, like a 25p Fury. ;)

Have you discussed your concerns with the Moores?
There are so many factors, even small ones, such as weight distribution that can make a difference.

Well i think ive found the sweet spot at 2.25" below pad i got nearly 72 mph gps 5900 rpms. at 3.25 it chine walked really bad because i was having to over trim to see any performance, so i started working my way up 1/4" at a time still have over 20 lbs of water pressure, and it seems like if i go any higher i start losing bow lift. Would like a few more mph though, maybe a 26 tempest plus or fury? I load my boat pretty light. In other words i dont carry bass pro around with me

Sounds like good numbers for a Pro Gator! ;) 26p Tempests are hit and miss, or at least theey used to be. Something to do with the molds? Furys are great props! I'd stick with a 25p on those as they tend to run like a 1p higher Tempest. In other words a 25p Fury will run like a 26p Tempest RPM wise. You're in your rpm window now, you don't want to lower it anymore.

Maybe we need to have another UB prop test at Cross again! Been a few years since we've done that. I fell in love with the Fury the last time we did one.

That would be cool to do a prop test, i live in texas though, south of lake fork. If i could get 2-3 more mph i would be happy. How do furys carry a load? Like a extra person and there gear?
