Well all I can say is Bass fishing on the big O can be a humbling experience.  One front was just leaving and another approached while I was on the water.  Hit the water at noon, hoping the evening bite would be good again.  Water temp was 86, and there was absolutely no breeze.    Tried the same tactics as monday, Punching during the heat of the day, and throwing a lipless in the cuts.  Then at around 4 the wind picked up slightly, but was out of the east.  Srarted working the lipless much more now that the water was moving but got nothing.  Then It went from a slight breeze to 2ft whitecaps.  Made the run back to Harney Pond canal, and decided to try the inlets there but the water that had been flowing into the canal on Monday, was now flowing out of the canal into the lake.  I tried working the oppisite direction but no luck. I guess I'll getem next time.  Jim

East winds can be tough. It's hard to wrap around them and figure the bass out. Thanks for the report, great information  ~c~ ~c~
