Wright Patman Bass Fishing Reports

me and a buddy went to wright patman last nite and fished from about 4 til dark and he caught 4 and i got skunked.  we spent the nite in "QUEEN CITY" and this morning we fouind a ridge between 2 creeks and hammered them.  they came up schooling AT LEAST 35 times and we got in the bad habit of chasing them.  if we woiuld have stayed on that ridge we probably would have caught more than we did.  we brought home 88 total fish.  one of those was a humongous sac a lait, and 8 of them were hybrids (all over 6 pounds), and the rest were white bass.  we barely could fit all of them in a 118Q ice chest.  we put the ice chest on my buddy's bathroom scale and it weight 214 pounds.  i don't think we brought home a fish under 2 pounds.  it was a blast.  i am sore from fishing, but that is a lot better than being sore from working.

we caught  probably 300 total fish.  lots of yellow-bellies and some small whites.  lost four huge hybrids right at the boat.  i did not have my net, and fought them all the way to the boat and they spit my lure.

i am going again sunday morning (tomorrow).  i don't have anyone in the back seat yet.  if you wanna go and get to set the hook in some good fish more than four or five times in a day, call me on my cell phone.  i am in shreveport for the nite, so if you live in this area, we can ride in my truck.  or if you wanna take your boat and follow me up there, call me as well.  i willll be happy to show you EXACTLY where to fish.  it is easy fishing.  i can take two people besides myself, so just holler at me and we can go.  i have all the baits we will need, just bring your rods with at least 17 pound test.

i hope some of yall take me up on this.  a free guided white bass trip.   man--it's like NBA action---it's fantastic.

drop it deep, yank it hard and bring some needle nose pliers.  .  .
