I am interested in getting an aluminum bass boat here in the next few months or so and I just wanted to know if anyone had any opinion on what boats are better I'm leaning toward the express right now mainly because the post a general price on there website and I like to know at least what ballpark I'm looking at. Any info would help thanks

BOATS

I have the XPRESSH18SS with a Yamaha 115, 28gl areated livewell, 30gl gas tank. I upgraded to the sportsman package which added gps, 70# trolling motor, better console, ripped graphics. I have had it in rough water at Okeechobee and it handles big water well. $24,400.00

Sounds like a nice boat I was looking at the 175 looks like it would be enough for me I live in Maryland so there really isn't any big lakes like that mostly rivers

You need whats best for you, just make sure it's not a flat bottom type and get the widest beam you can. Most of my fishing is on the St. Johns river and it can get really big too.

Should I put much weight into the depth finder or trolling motor that comes on the boat or do they pretty much come with generic starter models and then once I fish a bit with them I will know how I want to upgrade them

Up to you, I got the gps upgrade because I planned on hitting a lot of new water, you may want to get an upgrade on the trolling motor do to wind effect on a tin boat. The aluminums usually come with a 40# thrust or somewhere in that range, I have a 70# and it helps keep me where I want to be.
