whats a good color for the river and whats the best spot from palatka

Wormin I use red shad, and you can head south and lock through to rodman resivior, it's close.

Also be careful of the timber, the channel your okay but everywhere else watch out.

how far from the lock is the stump feld becouse that sounds like it would be a good spot

When you lock in the stump field is to the left in front of the dam, however you'll see timber everywhere.
