Do any of tou guys know what is the best way to glue plastic lure bodies together? :help: I have a few plasic blanks from an out of business lure manufacteur that have never been put together. I heard that the original company (PICO) used acetone? :-\

Acetone is a solvent, and it will melt some types of plastic. You could try it, but if it doesn't work, it might destroy the body. If you do try it, use a cotton swab, like a Q-tip, and just along the edges, then quickly put the two halves together. Acetone evaporates quickly too. Make sure you use it in a well ventilated area. It's nasty stuff to breath in too.

The old type model glue might also work if it's still available.
