Caddo Lake 2 Day, March 10 & 11/RESULTS

Our next event will be our 2 Day Combined tournament (with TX Poormans) at Caddo Lake, on March 10th and 11th. Registration and weigh-in will be at Shady Acres Marina, with registration beginning at 4:00am and ending at 5:15am...on Saturday only.

This is a double-entry-fee ($120/team) tournament and payouts will be determined by the two-day accumulated weights for each team. Teams that fish this event will be given credit for 2 tournaments toward Classic qualification. There will be a Big Bass Pot paid each day ($10 X # of boats) of the tournament. There will be also be the optional fee of $10 (for both days) for the 7 Pound Pot, which will pay out to the biggest fish (over 7 pounds) caught during this entire tournament, for those eligible to get in on this pot (see website for details).

I've had several emails and phone calls asking about the trailering aspect of our tournament.  Once you register and have your livewells checked, you may trailer to any public ramp on Caddo Lake and launch your boat and we will have a "first cast" at 6:00am.  Be sure to have the proper lighting, if going out before daylight.  Everything west of the Highway 43 bridge (Karnack, TX) is OFF-LIMITS, this is a different body of water and our tournament is on CADDO LAKE ONLY!  If you have any questions, feel free to ask right here on UB...as others may have similar questions.

Caddo Lake will be OFF-LIMITS following weigh-in on Day 1, see Rule #21 (last sentence) for clarification.  Therefore, you may not return to the lake after you weigh-in on Saturday (March 10th).

We had 29 teams show up for our 2 Day Combined Tournament (with TX Poormans) on Caddo lake, not a bad turnout for a weekend forecasted for bad weather. Fishing was tough after the rain/cold front came through on Thursday and Friday...but some managed to catch some fish, congratulations to those that cashed a check. Total payout for the tournament was $3,880. Here are the results:
