Not a big fan of this mouse.  Heard good things about it but when I used it. It didnt preform to my expectations I prefer the muit mouse over any other mouse bait.

I bought 2 of a similar item off of Eba a while ago, havent had a change to really try it, bt mine has a spinner blad on the end instead of the skirt...... what is the best way to work a mouse?

How can I get my hands on one of these? I looked up his website and the contact # is disconnected.

I've read about using a mouse. Is this bait any good?

bass.junky

I have been waiting a long time (or what feels like a long time) for these. I grabbed mine from LandBigFish.. I believe they still have stock for those looking..

I dont have big expectations going in.. but I think it would be fun to fish, so It is worth a short

Do you guys like this bait? I've yet to use it. Whats the deal with it? How does it walk?

Any reviews?

I've tried several different mouse type lures in the past.  I don't see where they do any better than a frog or other surface lure.  I think it's the ruckus created on the surface that draws a fish's attention and the strike.

I realize that for what it takes to bring a lure to market, that they have to catch fish, but in this case, I think it's designed to catch fishermen!  I don't see a whole lot of difference between that particular mouse and a Spro Frog!

But, if fishing a mouse floats your boat.....

Steve, right there with you brother...1st time I saw that, I said that'll catch a couple of anglers!  Looking at it from the fish perspective it looks a lot like a frog.  If it had spinners or paddles where the feet are then maybe it would be more realistic, but still from underneath, basically a frog profile.

It floats my boat.  Can't be any worse than the banjo minnow or helicopter lure. ;D I'm trying it.

Buzzkid, I wasn't being negative, just offering a different perspective.  I am looking forward to a review!  Who knows the tail may put it over the top!  It may have a totally unique action.  Obviously, something is going on for BPS to be sold out...

Didn't take it that way sir.  I may be the sucker in the end but if nothing else my boy will have a new bath toy minus hooks like the so called worlds best bass frog. :))

I haven't used the lure, but I plan on at least giving on a try. I have a small pond I dug out in my backyard with the biggest bass being maybe 2 and a half at the most, and on occasion I buy live mice from petco and it absolutely inhales them. I have also done this with a few friends at a bigger pond before and we took a few and chucked them into the lilly pads and they would always get nailed nearly immediately.

Ill probably buy one just because I love to buy lures  lo  That being said, unless it has a substantially different action than a hollow body frog, it wouldn't matter which one you used.  The only part of the lure that the fish will even have a chance to see is the under part, and if it is in heavy vegetation, the fish wont see much at all.  The vision of the things that bass see that are out of the water is pretty distorted. Finally bought one of these today and its a neat little bait for sure.  Looking forward to using it soon.

I finally got one in from BPS (still waiting for the other ~rant). I got a chance to got out the other day, so I decided to bring it along and try it. It walks the dog with out even trying. Better than any Spro, or Koppers frog out of the box. No fish were caught, but it's not really topwater time yet. It looks promising. I like it.

Took mine to the pond today just to see the action and I agree.  It walks with hardly any effort at all but mine also took on water immediately but I'm sure I just got a bad one which is easily possible.  I'll get another and expect good things from it, especially in open water in the ponds around here.
