Nothing out official that I'm aware of but IMHO Hard to copy/beat what these guys have been doing for like 10 years

I agree. Sticking with Todd and Dan no doubt. This will be my 6th or 7th season in this trail. Ready to start, as always! ;)

Beast and Kyle,
Thanks for the kind words.  Dan and I are going to continue to do our best to put on a good tournament that's fun for everyone, from the serious tournament fisherman to the guys that only fish Cross Lake.  And also try to make the payouts as high as possible with a $50 entry fee.

Thanks to HW MARINE, Triton, Mercury, Wilhite Solar, C'est Bon Cajun Products, and K&G Chronicles:
These guys collectively are making it possible for us to give away a boat in the championship!!!

K&G Chronicles is an outdoor show that airs on the Pursuit Channel.    They will be out at our tournaments taking some video and will have a big set up at our championship where they actually cook with the C'est Bon Products, which is a line of seasonings.  They will do an entire show on our TNT's.  Should be fun to watch and be involved in.

I am going to open another thread and post some additional information later today.  Some of this info may be repeated.

Looking forward to another good year!!!

Fisher of Men

Im super excited.  This will be my first year fishing the Thursday evening series on Cross.   I am assuming i can fish the events as a solo angler?

I think you can fish solo. I am planning on that myself.

Yes, you can fish solo.

You can fish solo.  The entry is the same $50.

If you do not declare a partner by the April 26 tournament, you must fish the remaining of the tournaments solo including the championship.  If you pick up a partner after the April 26 tournament, your points for the year will start over.

beast96z

If fishing solo, you are also limited to 4 overs and a under, where a team can bring in 5 over. However, this is rarely a problem! lo

danisfish

Catching five overs will not be an issue for me I can promise. Not on Cross anyway.

How many boats usually fish these tournaments on average?  Does everyone blast off at the same time?
Doctor says I should stay away from other people.

K2Racing29

Turnout at beginning of the year can be as high as 100 boats. There is a first cast as well as last cast time for safety. No big blast off.

We used to blast off back when there was only 50-60 boats. That used to be a blast, but got pretty dangerous once we got to the 80-100 boat range.

What are the tournament start and end times?

First cast will always be 5:15.

We will have a last cast time that will change at each tournament and  that timwill be given to you when you sign up\ get your livewell checked at each tournament.

We will also have a cut off time to be in the weigh in line.

We try to set the last cast time so that it is getting dark and you can get back to the launch with running lights on your boat, but without having to have a Q beam to see.

We allow plenty of time between last cast and cut off time to get in the weigh in line, so you don't have to hurry and you can have a safe trip back to the launch.
