Recessed trolling motor install On older Ranger

I have a 1986 390V and want to insall a recessed trolling motor foot mount. Anyone done this?  Any problems? TLM

Why not call Ranger and ask them, their tech's would know what to look out for. bigbasser

I have a 1994 354V Ranger 18' and I put a recessed trolling motor install last year. I'm 63 and not so steady on my feet anymore. Best thing I ever did. I believe its called confortroll.

The only thing I know for sure is to make sure you seal the edges of the wood when you cut the hole prior to installing the base plate.
