Talked to the service manager this morning.  Told him the writer told me 2 weeks and that thats a long time for a problem that I didn't cause, with the motor and leak.  Told him I feel like this boats a lemon and I bought a NEW boat to prevent headaches like these when  I had a choice for a used.  He was real nice and listened.  He said I will get someone out there tomorrow or saturday and that he might go with them.  He also said I shouldn't be getting any water in there without waves coming from the top of the boat to be turning on the bilge pump.  He said the deck will have to be removed etc.  Anyways, looks like things will get a move on now.... ~b~

Glad to hear you are getting some resolution!  Water in the bilge is not normal unless it either rained or it sloshed over the side of the boat...if you found there was a leak, there should have been NO question and they should have taken care of it right off!  I don't care how "nice" they are, bottom line is they are blowing you off...don't take any crap and go up the chain as soon as you get any push back from the current level you are at.  You can always call Springfield if nobody else will listen...but I would bet the store manager would be very responsive if you were to speak with him/her.  It's an easy fix that THEY are making harder.

Long story short, after the second "fix"...took the boat out and it still is taking on water....talked to service manager and says they are going to fix it etc...i said i want it fixed or my money back or a new boat and he said he will fix it...I told him you guys keep "fixing" it and the boat stays in the hot sun for weeks and still not fixed!!....this is the 3rd time my boats been in......

its been 6 weeks since i bought my boat and quite honestly i am so exhausted with this crap....what steps should I take now?  who knows even if tracker corp will be behind me....Any ideas?  should I go through the BPS store manager or corp or salesmanager?...I just don't know...it feels hopeless...u buy a brand new boat to prevent crap like this....and after 17k this is what i get!

X2! I'd hit the store manager first. If no satisfaction there I'd be calling Tracker and wouldn't stop till I hit Johnny Morris >:D!

Where are you located?  What BPS did you buy it from?  I think I would talk with the sales manager first, then the GM, then call the head office in Springfield.  Call every day, multiple times a day until somebody listens...squeaky wheel gets the grease...

I think I will talk to the sales manager next...I called tracker marine but they said they can't do anything they just manufacture the boat...so yea...I will go to the sales manager...store manager...district manager to bass pro corp....  thanks for the info guys...I will keep you posted

Pop me a contact at tracker Marine.   I am going to tell them they just lost a customer.

Here's how to be a real pain.
   1.  Document all conversations, date, who you talked with, result.  Send this registered/certified
mail to the Director of Sales/Marketing at Tracker & BPS.
   2.  Call a local TV station that does a consumer on their side segment or something similar.  Nothing
like a local TV station broadcasting a "why do you suck" segment.
   3.  Find a piece of land or parking lot that is near or directly across from the store that you
can park your boat.  Make a sign that is to the point, like this boat leaks & Tracker/BPS
won't fix.  Someone will come out from the store and  demand that you move/leave or
remove the sign.  Don't.  Fire up a video camera or phone video when this happens.
They may even call the police.  Just be nice.  The key here is exposure and make sure
that you are not on BPS/Tracker property.  Do this on weekends or better yet, big sale
weekends like spring special or hunting specials.  Get registered on their web site so you
        the email sales fliers!
   4.  I am a Tracker 175TXW owner!  I have not had a real bad experience with my dealer but
we did have a "coming to Jesus" moment.  Can get back wash in my boat.  Good luck!

as much as i dislike some of the program we have dont hesitate to use the BBB or even the state attorney general. niether realy has alot of power to get anything done other than the scare tactic it might envoke.
but exactly like Rush said document everything!!!!!!!!!!! not just to send to them but in case they decide to get militant and refuse service then you can hammer into them and not have to worry about trying to remember things.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.  I got an update that they apparently found the leak...leaks...(said the same thing twice before...) and that they fixed it....they found that one of the O-rings on the pumps was bad and the Y-split for the water tubes under the gas tank had a tube going into it that had a split where it joined into one of Y endings....Geez...I told them that I suspected one of the pipes under the gas tank might be leaking as I would see water slowly seep from that area the first time I took it in!!!!! Its just that you can't see below because of the metal shelf...you would have to remove the gas tank, batteries and I think even cut welding to remove the shelf...or just replace the hoses...... I think....I HOPE this solves it...They will meet me at the lake to check the completed work...The service department has been very nice believe it or not...thats the only thing that keeps my anger at and wrath at bay...the 3rd time I went in I did pass the threshold a little so I hope they know its serious...So I will let you guys know next week if this problem is finally over!...And trust me...the minute they actually refuse to service the boat or even remotely blame me...I will let BPS higher ups know and the consumers....because honestly..I too was a shopper before purchasing this boat...it was a used boat or a new boat...then it became a new boat to avoid problems like these...but anyways..it was between Lund and Tracker for me...and I picked Tracker..I know many people are probabkly in the same limbo as me...so I will definately give my opinion on wehtere I would buy a Tracker or not...This is the 3rd Tracker I have had...To be fair...I will let them fix this...I know every production has a bad apple....Like I said....tracker marine staff has been very nice and willing to fix the problem...but like someone else mentioned earlier...nice doesn't  always get results...so stay tuned for the next report!

it sounds like this time they inspected it more than the previous times. earlier it sounded like they was using previous experience and hoping it would fix it. JMO
hopefully they got it this time

exactly right Cam...thats what I thought too...the only way to see where the leak is coming from is to...well...see where the leak is coming from!!...the first 2 times they never took it out to find the leak...the first time they did AFTER they thought they fixed it...but apparently didn't fix it because they only looked in the back for a split second...it was a slow leak...So yea...I think this time they really did go out there on the lake to find the actual leak rather than slap silicone all over my boat and guess where it must be coming from...as if my troubleshooting was invaluable to them...we all pretty much figured this out on the board the first day I took it in!

service manage told me they took it out and found the leak the 2nd time and that the motor noise was normal ...I even specifically asked they physically saw where it was coming from and he said yes.. that they had to remove the deck to do so...anyways..then when I went to pick up the the boat the 2nd time..the writer told me...they never took it out to the lake....(oh oh!! someone just accidentaly exposed a lie!!)...

I then let the service manager know that I hate to be lied to...I told him the exact story...anyways..he said he will fix this issue right away...and acknowledged that it is def not normal to have enough water to flip blige on when no water comes in overboard or when it is docked...

sorry for the length...writing all this for learning purpose and hopefully all this helps out any others in my position....

I just wanted to update everyone.  Just incase anyone were to have a problem like mine again, they have some knowledge of what it can be.  So I FINALLY got them to fix the problem.  There was a Y-SPlitter where hoses joined from the livewell to the exit hole in the boat.  Well, the only way you can access or see it is if you take out the gas tank and batteries and remove that aluminum shelf it sits on and by doing that, you have to remove the rivets.  Well, they did all that and saw that one of the hoses werent clamped to the splitter correctly.  I told them that its coming from under the gas tank shelf when I FIRST brought in the boat.  But did they care to pay attention?  No.  So after 5 trips, they finally got it fixed.  Thanks for all the support guys!  I appreciate it.  Now I need to find some energy to take the boat out and enjoy it!!

God that is frustrating! One lazy person and a loose hose clamp causes all these headaches for you.

Glad you got it fixed anyway.
