Phred,
Hope I answered your questions on that thread.
Other updates:
New product soon to be available in late May early June - Skitter Legs & Rear Stinger Hook systems for the Clones.  Packages will come with 4 different density of Skitter Legs which basically turn your frogs into weedless buzzbaits.  The stinger hook will be a 2/3 treble that rolls over the weeds with the greatest of easy, almost never missing a fish!
Packs will be priced around $5.99
Now Clone fans will have the choice of fishing the original kicking legs or the Skitter Legs.  Enjoy!
Nick

Update:  Our new product - Skitter Legs & Rear Stinger hook system will be available the first week in June.  For those of you that don't know, the Skitter legs will possess an entirely different action than the original kicking legs model.  The Skitter Legs putters providing a buzzing sensation to the top of the water.  The rear stinger hook has been designed in a way in which the angler almost never misses a strike.   It's essentially 2/3 of a treble hook which allows the frog to pass over weeds & vegetation with ease.  The Stinger can be rigged with both the Skitter & Original Kicking legs.  I will be emailing our customer list as soon as we have them available, as well as updating the site for future customers.  Thank you for your support!

Not to be a party pooper but the fish where I fish don't like this frog for some reason.  Spro, scum, rage, zoom, all work but they just won't touch this one.  Bummer.

I had a couple hours out with the frog today. Sunburnt and relaxing now but a review of the today is to come.

I got mine in the mail just last week, it felt different in my hand then expected, looking forward to giving it a cast to see how it looks in the water.

I think I was surprised by the feel of the body and the legs, the legs look more plasticky and firm on the site then they do up close and personal.. this is a good thing.. and the body had a dense foam look on the site, but in person you can feel the soft give of the material, it has that give but stills feels like it would hold up to a hawg

Skitter Legs & rear stinger hook system are due in our building sometime mid next week!  We will be posting & emailing all our customers exactly when we have them.  The Skitter legs system has been tested thoroughly by Ken Daubert and Frogmen salesmen lately.  It appears that these legs and hook system actually outshine the original kicking legs!  It will be fun to have options however.  Can't wait!

The looks and action of the skitter legs was my favorite in the video's I watched. Tell us more about the four different densities of the skitter leggs and will you have a choice when ordering. Thanks.

You will not have a choice because each package will come with four different Skitter legs to choose from.  The densities or softness of the legs basically kick up different amounts of water.  The harder legs will work better when you have some chop or wind to deal with.  You'll have to mess around to discover which legs work best for your situations.  I've caught fish on all of them!

Has anyone caught any fish on their Best bass frog yet? I haven't

Guys I believe the new Skitter Legs will completely solve your hookup problems.
And, I've developed a way of making the new Skitter Legs & Rear Stinger system completely weedless.  The picture is helpful but I'll try and describe it.  First of all I take any ole plastic trailer, the one I have here is from zoom.  I cut it in half and then trim the heavier portion some more.  I then take the inner chamber piece out of the frog a little and I pierce the heavier end of both pieces of plastic into the metal connector piece.  Then I push the plastic legs spreader in tight and push the inner chamber with the Skitter legs and trailer piceces back through into the Clone.  Might seem complicated but it really isn't.  Once you do this I'm convinced that you are now fishing with the most action packed, weedless, and most important of all best hooking frog on the market.  Once again, I recommend tying directly to the front pin.  No need for the original front hook with this set-up.
Good Luck, and thanks for the support!

To be 100% honest with you, I can't see myself spending money on something right now that "should" solve my problem. I have a arsenal of other frogs that get the job done and they are all paid for already. Just giving my honest feedback.

I hear what your say DB but if I'm reading this right and understand the photo I think you can try this out with the one you got.  Just pop off the plastic legs and add any soft plastic trailer you want and do the treble hook thing.  Anyway just an idea and you might like being able to change out the colors of the legs and or action of the frog.   ;)

DBrooke

I know what your saying, I'll just need to find a way to fasten a hook back there and be weedless lo

Everyone knows that I am a long term frog fisherman and have tried just about every frog ever made.  Have been giving these frogs an honest try and agree with you totally.  They just don't work out of the box with the tiny hook, they don't act like the videos and now we have to be a tackle repairman to fix them so they "might" work?

bass.junky

Yeah, I have had mine for a few weeks now, but dont have the heart to use it. It is in my frog box, but each time I look at it, i just grab a more tried and true frog.

I did a small review of the frog when I first got it..

The World's Best Bass Frog is picking up some serious steam lately.  We just exhibited at the ICAST show in Las Vegas & got a ton of great press.  Aaron Martens is even working with Clone creator Ken Daubert on becoming our 1st really high profile angler! The Clone frogs are also going to be featured in the upcoming August issue of In-fisherman Magazine!
Realizing that some of you aren't in-love with the original front hook system, I can't stress enough about how awesome our new Skitter Legs & Rear Stinger hook systems are.  A ton of huge bass are coming in on a National basis with this setup.

i finally was able to get out and fish yesterday so i tried the frog since i won it on the site. i like the way it moves through the water. unfortunately i didn't have any bass try to take it. i will try to figure a way to put a rear hook on but then it may not be so weedless. hopefully i can catch something on it and ill post what i think of it then. i think its a good product, i'm just gonna have to fish it some more to catch one.
