Boater Steve Oleksyn of Rochester, N.Y., caught 10 bass weighing 47 pounds, 3 ounces in the Sept. 10-11 Walmart BFL Northeast Division tournament at 1000 Islands to win $4,400 plus a $1,000 Mercury bonus. Oleksyn fished the main lake, dragging 3 ½ inch pumpkin colored KVD Tubes at depths of 20 feet or less.

Co side Craig Dubois of Sprakers, N.Y., caught 10 bass weighing 47 pounds, 3 ounces in the Sept. 10-11 event to win $2,200 in the Co-angler Division. Dubois also fished the main lake, using Lucky Craft jerkbaits and 3 1/2 inch black and gold tubes.
